Writing in the outdoors
Do you know who Henry David Thoreau is?
He’s a famous author that is best known for his book Walden, Life in the Woods. Here is a quote from Henry Thoreau:
“I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”
― Henry David Thoreau, Walden: Or, Life in the Woods
Like henry, we can get inspired in the outdoors to come up with great ideas. Writing down what you are working on that day or recording the conditions of an area can help you remember details for another event like filling out your time log. Scientists in the field always carry a notebook to record their data with them and keep track of their projects.
